Looking to learn about ceramics?!

In this beginners class (individuals to max 3 people) we will dive a little bit into different hand building techniques to start you off in your ceramics journey!

£200 per person, all inclusive.

Session 1: PINCH POT

We will start by making a pinch pot, smaller in size as not to be overwhelming. This can be turned into a tapas bowl, small mug, plant pot, etc.

Session 2: COIL

In our second session we will dive into something slightly bigger, using the coiling technique. You will be able to turn this into a pot, vase, jug, etc.

Session 3: SLAB BUILDING

For our third session we will create pieces out of slabs of clay. Giving you a better variety of shapes and techniques. Which will be personalised to your liking.

Session 4: FINAL CLAY SESSION

In our fourth session we will combine all of our techniques and create a more unique piece based on your prefer methods of making.

Session 5: POTTERY PAINTING/ GLAZING

Hopefully by our final session you will have 4 (or more!) bisque ceramic pieces ready to be decorated. You can use our range of underglazes to add an extra touch of personality to your pieces! We can use this painting session to chat about your future ceramics journey or you can put on some music and enjoy this meditative task.
