Hi, I’m Maya! The illustrator, ceramicist and all things maker around here!

After graduating from my Bachelors in Illustration I decided to take a ceramics taster class and I’ve been hooked ever since! I now do a combination of hand building and thrown ceramics, using primarily earthenware clay. As well as continuing with my drawings of moody girls and plants, which I now mostly create it digitally.

After growing up in Brazil, I have now adapted to enjoy lounging around in the sun in the South East Coast of England, while listening to true crime podcasts and sipping on a good cup of coffee! Although this sounds absolutely idyllic, it is usually surrounded by piles of clay, ceramics dust and you bet I have paint on my hair!
